Gay M. Bell - Managing Director

Gay formed Platform in 1992 with the objective of providing clients with senior communications services combined with an independent and personal approach. With over 20 years international public relations and marketing experience, Gay's expertise covers a breadth of disciplines from strategic planning, product and corporate positioning, issues management, market intelligence, media relations and marketing communications.

Her senior consultancy experience, working for clients such as NDS, NeXT Computer, EDS, BT and Bell Atlantic, is supported by international in-house PR positions for Philips Electronics, based in The Netherlands. In addition, Gay has managed large consumer PR accounts such as NorthWest Airlines and Busch Entertainment Corporation.

Prior to establishing Platform, Gay was a European board director and head of technology at Fleishman Hillard, the world's largest PR consultancy. Gay began her career as a journalist.
